Are you looking for a unique way of brighting up your landscape? Consider using recycled glass as an alternative to traditional bark and gravel mulches. Glass mulch is becoming a popular choice amongst the gardening and landscaping designers, due to the wide variety of colors and textures that it offers over that of traditional mulches.

The Trophy Home
Nature has so many dynamic ways of expressing itself. The Eco Home,by Diseno ,Earle in Spain takes first prize. The square stone blocks along the pool, the grass path to the second level jacuzzi, the warm flow of water that streams down the water fall into the main pool to regulate the temperature are all reminiscent of a utopia version of outdoor hot springs in California. The whole house is amazing and Eco friendly. Below is the exterior of this gorgeous home.

Healthy Garden Solution
YOU SAID HOW MUCH!
This is madness and unnessisary. The chair is almost $1500 and the bench $5000 with tax. Yeah! OK! Wait! Dont get me wrong I love the chair and bench (and the artist who crafted this ultra modern piece, it truley is beautiful) and if money, waste of tree, and comfort were not an issue, fine chop(i mean shop) away.
Now a simple, inexpensive way to achieve this look is to do a little research or if time is of concerned hire an designer to do the shopping for you. We love going flea markets, yard sales, antique shops. Quickly found these similar furniture pieces at http://www.myamishfurniture.com/ for 1/8 of the price too. Plus im not scared to sit here.

Now you see it, now you dont.
A perfect example of how a design can blend into its environment. For a bargin price too! Just a little effort on the designers to hunt and patients to let grow.
Extreme Upcycling
It is a bird, it is a plane, it is a house made out of upcycling dispensed jet parts.
Upcycling is the process of converting useless products into new materials or products of better quality or a higher environmental value.
Recycling involves processing used materials into new products to prevent waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air pollution (from incineration) and water pollution (from landfilling) by reducing the need for "conventional" waste disposal, and lower greenhouse gas emissions as compared to virgin production.
I try to upcycle as much as I can. Recyling is good and upcycling is better.
Happy Upcycling Everyone!
